Bracket placement
Space standard brackets 20–24 in. (50–60 cm) apart. Place one bracket on each side of every rod joint, 8–12 in. (20–30 cm) from the joint, and one about 8 in. (20 cm) from the motor end.
Level and secure the rod
Confirm the rod is level and evenly supported. Align each top set screw with the silver washer inside the rod channel, then tighten and check that the rod and brackets are secure.
Install and test the motor
Insert the motor drive shaft fully into the rod drive-base slot and turn clockwise until it locks. Pair the remote and test the motor before hanging the curtains.
